Why are more ads for soda, clothes on TV channels than those which promotes Patriotism?

I have seen so many good ads on youtube over the years which promotes patriotism, love & respect for a country, its defence forces but its soo sad to notice that they rarely cross over to TV channels.
All I see on channels is ads for soda, clothes, shoes etc etc…
Its not gonna make a big difference but its never too late to start promoting Patriotism in younger generations. With the reach of channels to such a wide audience, even few extra minutes of airtime for such lovely ads could do wonders.

Unfortunately it’s all about money.
The people who promote soda, stuff etc, are expecting people to buy more $ than it costs for the add, so they are just trying to make money.
Who’s going to pay for the patriotism adds? We’d like to think the government would, but they’re about money too….they can’t make money from the adds.

I am saddened by the lack of Patriotism around me. I mentioned to a man I don’t know very well that I had gone to the Memorial Day Service in my city. He said he could never understand why anyone would go to such a thing. He asked me why I attended. I couldn’t speak for a few seconds and finally said I go out of gratitude for all of those who sacrificed their lives for me and my freedom. His statement, to me, was shameful and ignorant.

I respect you for wanting youth to cherish their freedom. Perhaps you should start a campaign in your community.
