Cleaning Your Carpets to Perfection
When you move into a new home you’re probably wondering what has happened to your carpet and feel it needs to be cleaned. This is one of the smartest ideas anyone can have when they move into a new home. Even if it was done by the previous owners after they moved everything there is still the chance of the carpet being dirty.
Carpets hold all the dirty little secrets of everything that’s occurred in a home, whether it’s been dirt tracked through or soda pop spilt its still there after the carpet has been vacuumed on many occasions.
There are many carpet cleaning companies available, but not everyone can afford to have someone come and clean the carpets. Finding a carpet cleaner yourself may not be as complicated as you think. Many stores have rental services available where you can rent a carpet cleaner for a day or how ever many that you need it. All you will need to do is purchase their cleaning products, pay the rental fees and you’ll be on your way to cleaning your carpets.
If you do end up purchasing carpet cleaning services you may see better results then doing it on your own as the equipment they use is heavy duty, unlike the rental carpet cleaner you may get in a store. With carpet cleaning services it would be wise to do it the day before you move into your home so there is nothing in the way. This allows the cleaners to get everything from corner to corner. Just ensure if you do this people take off their shoes when they come in to keep your carpets in tip top shape.
There are many different types of fabrics used to clean carpets, and many more that are stain resistant. Many are confused by what it means when carpets are stain resistant, but here’s a fact you may want to know. If you spill something onto a stain resistant carpet and clean it off, that area is no longer stain resistant as when cleaning it removes the stain resistant chemicals that were utilized.
Every carpet is different and every carpet can be more complicated then the previous to clean. By hiring a cleaning service for carpets you can save yourself the stress of having to fuss cleaning the carpets for hours on end. When cleaning carpets they tend to become a bit moist so don’t put anything on them until they are completely dry or you could find yourself holding the water in that spot which would eventually grow mould underneath your carpet, which is a large repair fee if that occurs.
Take the time to clean your carpets on a regular basis after you’ve moved into your home. A regular vacuum can do wonders, but by having your carpets cleaned regularly you will keep your carpets in excellent shape. With the proper cleaning products and equipment you can keep your carpets brand new for many years to come.

Do you live in organized chaos or organized perfection?
Does the opposite drive you insane?
Do you attempt to change those not of your inclinations?
Do you vacuum your carpets when you need to, even if you dont need to or do you not own a vacuum cleaner nor know what to do with one?

Chaos works. I don’t know about organized.
I never try to change anyone’s mind about anything. I vacuum when I need to.
You are talking about a person who has 2 kids under 6, three dogs, and two parrots. Nobody will ever call me pretentious! Ha! In my house, dog hair is a condiment.

Clean enough to be healthy, but you wouldn’t want to wear black. With two dogs and a cat, pet hair is part of the interior design.

Organized chaos.
Nothing drives me insane.
I vacuum as needed.
And CHANGE: if I have to clean up their mess they are going to hear about it.

I have never been a clean freak. If the house needs cleaning and I want to do something else I leave it and go.
I don’t like chaos. I like for things to look nice. But after my diagnoses of Fibromyalgia several years ago I have learned to accept the fact that I just can’t keep it all done. Lately my situation had made that even more difficult. But I try and occasionally get caught up. It doesn’t last long though

I do things when I feel like it. I’m married to a man who is obsessive compulsive . Every morning I get up to find my fridge and cupboards re-organized. There are worse things in life but sometimes I mess them up on purpose to keep him busy.

Unorganized chaos especially since discovering Yahoo Q&A. It is hard to believe when I was younger, I was just the opposite. I see Oprah and Dr. Phil are advertising segments on "hoarding" on their Monday shows, so I hope I can watch and see if I can learn anything. LOL

No, I only vacuum when needed. Being disabled keeps me from doing too much extra. It’s about all I can do, to do the needed things. Oh I have some good days and I do more but I try not to over do. I know where things are ,but I sure wouldn’t say it was organized. Maybe for my mentallity , but surely not for the average person.LOL

Definitely orgnized chaos at home but organized perfection in my office. At home I have to live with an ADD hubby who leaves a trail of forgetten items behind him. Before we were married my house had a place for everything and everything was in its place. I’ve learned that its not worth the battles and stresses to constantly be picking up afer him. I do it before I go to bed at night and have learned to ignore most of it till then. I do try to keep things as organized as I can to contain the clutter and minimize my agravation. I dont insist on total spotlessness but picked up and surface cleaning is usually just fine with me. At work however, my office is totally organized and nothing is ever out of place. I function better like that since I’m usually juggling lots of balls at one time plus no one else is in my space to make a mess.

Chaos and neither of us organised…different sized boots with varied colours of mud inside the back door….horsey and livestock magazine spread every where…when it really gets bad we look at one another, sigh and either go horse riding or fishing….it’s our home to live in and it’s a happy one We would like to use the vacuum cleaner more…but it’s finding the damn thing.

Well, we all know that we have our choices and my choice has been organized chaos. Mainly because it has fit my lifestyle best - that being one of chaos.
Now we must remember that "organized" means just that. Such as, knowing where we put everything, provided someone doesn’t come along and move it. I hate it when people do that. Then, you can’t go back and find it where you left it and it wastes time trying to find it.
I love life that way, as long as people leave things alone.

just regular chaos
organised and or unorganised chaos drive me insane? hmm dont think so
just chaos in general does that
as life is often chaos
, i dont change peoples beliefs,if thats what you mean
but
i do try to change the way people treat me, with psychology, when i dont think they treat me right,
i vacuum when im in the mood,
and when it needs it
but sometimes i just leave it for a few days
and
i use a brush first, then vaccum, as the carpets kinda cheap and needs extra work, and usually then give it a wash too, cos i spill a lot of things regularly
